Drs. Barry Maron and Martin Maron are responsible for launching and directing the world’s largest and most comprehensive conference on HCM. For more than 3 decades (every 3 years) and for 3 days, the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Summit serves as a unique educational venue for cardiologists, healthcare professionals, and patients worldwide. Attendees hear and discuss the latest and most clinically relevant data on this complex disease.

Real-World Considerations for the Contemporary Management of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Provider registration is now open for the 8th International HCM Summit taking place this October 25-27, 2024 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, MA, USA. This clinically focused and intensive 3-day in-person scientific meeting will feature 44 internationally recognized faculty and 57 state-of-the art talks, panels and debates covering all aspects of HCM diagnosis and management. Practicing cardiologists, internists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals—clinicians, basic researchers, fellows, residents and nurses—with an interest in HCM throughout the world are invited to attend.

Continuing Medical Education

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cine-Med and Lahey Clinic, Inc. Cine-Med is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Cine-Med designates this activity for a maximum of 17.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity provides 17.75 contact hours for nurses. All other healthcare professionals will receive a Certificate of Participation.

HCM Summit 7 Highlights

The 7th International HCM Summit was held (virtually) in October 2021 with almost 700 attendees from 40 countries and 42 US states. Those in attendance had the opportunity to engage and interact with a wide variety of topics presented in 47 expert lectures, debates, and comprehensive discussions by 36 distinguished international speakers—including Dr. Eugene Braunwald.
