Drs. Barry Maron and Martin Maron launched and continue to direct the world's largest and most comprehensive scientific conference dedicated exclusively to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

For more than three decades, the International Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Summit has served as the definitive global educational venue for cardiologists, healthcare professionals, and patients worldwide, bringing together the field's most respected voices to advance the understanding and management of this complex disease.

The 9th International HCM Summit returns to Boston's Seaport Hotel for four days of clinically focused, case-based learning designed for the full HCM care team. This intensive in-person scientific meeting will feature more than 46 internationally renowned faculty presenting across all dimensions of HCM — from imaging, genetics, and electrophysiology to heart failure, surgery, and pharmacology.

Continuing Medical Education

This activity has been planned and implemented by Cine-Med and Lahey Clinic, Inc. Cine-Med is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CineMed designates this Other Activity (Live and Enduring) for a maximum of 19.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity provides 19.25 contact hours for nurses. All other healthcare professionals will receive a Certificate of Participation. Past Summit Highlights

The 8th International HCM Summit in October 2024 drew 600+ attendees from 29 countries to Boston for three days of world-class scientific programming, with an additional 200 participating virtually. The meeting featured 52 expert lectures, debates, and comprehensive discussions led by 43 distinguished international speakers, reflecting the extraordinary global reach and momentum of this field.

The 7th International HCM Summit was held virtually in October 2021, drawing nearly 700 attendees from 40 countries and 42 US states. Attendees engaged with 47 expert lectures, debates, and comprehensive discussions presented by 36 distinguished international speakers — including Dr. Eugene Braunwald.
