The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery evaluates and treats disorders of the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. Otolaryngologists are trained in both medicine and surgery, and they combine these skills as needed to address a broad array of diseases and conditions.
The Department of Otolaryngology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center was ranked among the top 40 in the country in a recent U.S. News and World Report hospital survey. Our specialists have the expertise and technology to diagnose and treat the full range of head and neck disorders. They are supported by an outstanding staff of audiologists and voice specialists who are experts at helping those with hearing, voice, swallowing and balance problems. The department is also a nationally and internationally recognized leader in minimally invasive sinus and nasal surgery.
