At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center our Clinical Nutrition Services team works with you and your doctor to improve your care and treatment for both acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) illnesses. Our team consists of registered dieticians, gastroenterologists, nurses and pharmacists. Whether you need support during your hospital stay or on a regular basis, we can design a nutritional plan to meet your specific needs and help you stay healthy.

Our team works closely with other specialists to provide support for gastroenterological conditions, diabetes care and cardiovascular rehabilitation. We provide you with safe and effective enteral or parenteral nutrition, including home management through visiting nurses and local suppliers.
As part of our nutrition support services, we offer a diabetes education program that is recognized for excellence by the American Diabetes Association. Our program gives you support and education to help you successfully manage your diabetes. Individual and group education is offered at Lahey in Burlington on Mondays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
