Getting to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
With both public and private transportation services available, it’s easy to get to your appointment at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Private Transportation
Lahey provides our patients with discounted private transportation services in Burlington, Peabody and adjacent towns. Options include car rental, private sedan, taxi and shuttle service to Boston’s Logan Airport and South Station.

Public Transportation
From Downtown Boston and Logan International Airport
Downtown Boston
MBTA bus #352 provides weekday, rush hour service from downtown Boston at the State Street station area via Route I-93.
MBTA commuter rail service via the Lowell line provides train service from downtown Boston at North Station to Anderson RTC in Woburn.
Note: Public transportation is not available from Anderson Station to Burlington, passengers should secure a taxi or car service for pickup to arrive at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Logan International Airport
Take the MBTA Blue Line and connect to the Green Line at the Government Center stop. From the Green Line, take the Red Line to Alewife Station in Cambridge. From Alewife Station, take the MBTA's bus #350. The bus stops at Lahey's entrance a few minutes after the Burlington Mall stop noted on the MBTA schedule.
From Cambridge
The MBTA bus #350 provides service from the Red Line's Alewife Station in Cambridge. The bus stops at Lahey's entrance a few minutes after the Burlington Mall stop noted on the MBTA schedule.
From Lowell/Billerica
Lowell Regional Transportation Authority (LRTA) buses travel along Route 3A to the intersection of Chestnut and Cambridge streets in Burlington, where you can transfer to either MBTA bus #350 or to a local B-Line bus for a short, direct connection to the hospital.
From Lexington
Bus service is available from Lexington via LEXPRESS bus #2 and 5. LEXPRESS is Lexington's neighborhood minibus system. Each route operates once per hour. Routes begin and end at Depot Square. Each route takes 25 minutes. Times are approximate and subject to traffic. LEXPRESS connects to the following transit systems: MBTA, Burlington B-Line and Lowell Regional Transit.
Within Burlington
B-Line buses travel throughout Burlington. In the event that passengers need to transfer, all buses connect at the B-Line office, located at the Human Resources Building in Burlington center.
MBTA bus #435, 436 and 465 all have stops in front of Lahey Medical Center, Peabody.
