Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Welcomes New Board Members
New Members Will Help Guide Lahey's Mission
Burlington, MA – Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC) announced today that five new members have joined the hospital’s Board of Trustees: Jennifer C. Broder, MD; Shobha A. Chacko, MD; Randi C. Conley; Alin A. Joseph, MD; and Jennifer J. Reske-Nielsen, MD, MPH.
LHMC's board is made up of dedicated professionals with a wealth of personal and professional experience and a shared commitment to the hospital’s mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.

LHMC also thanks outgoing board members Betsey Crawford, MD; Arthur Mourtzinos, MD; Jayashri Srinivasan, MD; and Christine Winger, MD for their service and contributions.
The Board also remembers Joan McArdle, who passed away in August 2025, and recognizes the many contributions that she made to Lahey during her seven-year tenure as a Trustee.

In addition to the new Trustees, LHMC announced new members of the President's Council, including Cynthia Gruber; Doug Karp; Michael Labson; and Jess Parks.
About LHMC's New Trustees
Jennifer C. Broder, MD
Dr. Broder is a diagnostic radiologist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She also serves as Vice Chair of Quality and Safety of the Department of Radiology and is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UMass Chan Medical School. Dr. Broder is nationally recognized for her publications and leadership on topics such as just culture, peer learning, and implementing quality improvement strategies in radiology. Dr. Broder holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
Shobha A. Chacko, MD
Dr. Chacko is a member of the Hospital Medicine team and is a Physician Advisor for Utilization Review and Case Management at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She received her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India and completed her residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York. Dr. Chacko is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Randi C. Conley
Ms. Conley held senior-level positions in direct marketing for catalog and retail companies including America’s Test Kitchen, Vermont Country Store, Brookstone, and Swiss Colony for 25 years. She has been a SCORE volunteer since 2009, counseling start-ups and small businesses to grow and succeed. Ms. Conley served as co-chair of Lahey's Women's Leadership Council and is currently a member of the LHMC President's Council. Ms. Conley holds a master’s degree from Harvard Business School.
Alin A. Joseph, MD
Dr. Joseph is a board-certified nephrologist and practices at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine. Regularly recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the Boston and North Shore regions, Dr. Joseph remains dedicated to excellence in clinical care, education, and quality improvement. Dr. Joseph earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Tufts Medical Center, where she also obtained a master's in clinical research.
Jennifer Reske-Nielsen, MD, MPH
Dr. Reske-Nielsen is an internal medicine physician at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, and she is also an Assistant Professor at the UMass Chan Medical School. Dr. Reske-Nielsen received her medical degree from Boston University’s School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
