Understanding that timely response is crucial when treating patients with rheumatic conditions, a highly qualified nurse practitioner — working under the supervision of a rheumatologist — is available to answer questions and evaluate, educate and treat patients.

The rheumatology team is part of a group of clinicians at Lahey dedicated to the treatment of musculoskeletal disease. When necessary, we consult with our colleagues in endocrinology, physical and occupational therapy, orthopedic surgery, pain management, hand surgery and other areas, ensuring that you receive the most comprehensive care possible.
