Advanced Imaging Focused on You

When you need an imaging test, you want clear answers quickly. Lahey Clinic provides high-quality diagnostic imaging and medical imaging for both outpatient appointments and inpatient radiology needs.

Our imaging center combines advanced technology with experienced radiologists to deliver accurate results and help guide your care. Whether you are having an MRI scan, X-ray, ultrasound or CT scan, your comfort and safety come first.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology Services

Radiology includes both diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures. Diagnostic imaging helps identify the cause of symptoms or monitor a condition. Therapeutic imaging uses image guidance to treat certain conditions without traditional surgery.

Lahey offers advanced equipment, specialized imaging suites and radiation dose reduction software to help improve safety and image quality. Results are reviewed by board-certified radiologists and shared promptly with your care team.

Imaging Services Available

Schedule Your Imaging Appointment

Most of the imaging tests performed at Lahey are scheduled by your referring physician’s office.

Exceptions to this general rule:

  • Patients referred by a non-Lahey physician that have a doctor’s order or prescription for a specialty study (e.g., CT scan, GI study, MRI scan, nuclear medicine study, ultrasound, etc.). You can call 781-744-8000 to schedule an appointment at our Burlington, Peabody or Lexington locations.

Not all services are offered at all locations. Call 781-744-8000 to speak with a representative who can direct you to the appropriate location.
