Innovative Surgical Treatments

If you need hip surgery, you can rest easy. Lahey hip doctors provide advanced procedures and expert care.

We offer several innovative approaches, such as:

  • Anterior approach for total hip replacement: Your surgeon uses the Hana table, an advanced device for fracture care. During the procedure, your surgeon works between the muscles and tissues. Your healthy tissues are not detached from the hip bone or thigh bone. This helps you avoid trauma and experience less pain, a faster recovery and better mobility.
  • Hip preservation surgery: This procedure relieves pain and improves motion without replacing the hip joint. Your surgeon may recommend hip preservation, especially if you are a younger patient. Your surgeon reshapes the hip joint to reduce friction. This approach preserves your cartilage and joint.

You can expect wrap-around care at every step of your hip treatment.
