Working with our clinician-teachers, you have opportunities to not only continue learning, but to take the next step in your career.

Undergraduate & Medical Student Education

We provide opportunities to medical students at various stages of their educational career. As a major teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, those who participate in our programs work alongside world-renowned physicians who provide expertise and mentorship that prepare them for the next step in their career.

We are home to UMass-Chan Lahey, a regional campus and collaborative effort between Lahey and UMass Chan Medical School. There, trainees learn the skills needed to provide high-quality, compassionate care to local communities, especially those that have historically faced barriers to equitable care.

Graduate Medical Education

We offer a wide range of fellowship and residency opportunities to postgraduates looking to deepen their expertise and prepare for careers in clinical care and leadership.

Lahey’s fellows and residents have unique access to leading-edge tools, techniques, procedures and expertise. We also offer competitive benefits packages to support trainees outside work. All of our residency and fellowship programs are located in scenic Burlington, Massachusetts, approximately 17 miles northwest of Boston.

Select a program from our residency and fellowship directories to learn about program-specific curricula, research opportunities, faculty and more. You can also search our Departments & Divisions for specialty-specific opportunities.

Alumni Association

Lahey has a long history of connecting former and current residents, fellows and physicians in a shared sense of community and mission. Many of our graduates join our Alumni Association upon completion of their program to support others as they begin their careers in medicine.
