Hospital Medicine Care, Research and Education

Experts in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Lahey Clinic offer expert care for patients who are in the hospital. Trained to care for patients at every stage of life, our hospitalists stay up to date on the latest methods of acute care in the hospital setting. We also support wellness efforts, manage chronic conditions and provide palliative care for advanced illness.

In addition to providing comprehensive patient care, physicians in the Division of Hospital Medicine contribute to scientific research and serve as faculty in our advanced practice fellowship program.

Care & Services

Physicians in Lahey’s Division of Hospital Medicine provide compassionate care to each patient. Our hospitalists work on inpatient medical and surgical floors 24 hours a day. We work closely with patients, their family members and other physicians, coordinating patient care with specialists and surgeons when necessary.

Our division offers a Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Fellowship to train the next generation of hospitalists.
