Rooted in History
In 1923, Frank Lahey, MD, founded the group practice that would become Lahey Clinic. Since our first days, our mission has stayed the same: to coordinate all our patients’ needs under one roof.
Today, as a physician-led, nonprofit group practice, Lahey continues to put patients first. We have more than 1,200 clinicians, over 2,100 nurses and 6,100 employees working together. Our patients have access to a variety of specialists dedicated to compassionate care and service in one hospital.
Then as now, our leadership team plays a vital role guiding and driving our mission to deliver Dr. Lahey’s mission.
